We are delighted to link our web site to Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors LLP who sponsor Club Inégales and provide the premises for our concerts in their groovy bar at 180 North Gower Street.
HJA was founded in 1977 by current Senior Partner Patrick Allen and colleagues. Their aim was to provide high quality legal services for individual clients who faced problems defending or asserting their legal rights. The firm has grown from 4 to 200 staff and operates from premises close to Euston Station. It offers legal services in criminal defence , family, housing and employment law, wills and probate, human rights and claims for personal injury and medical clinical negligence. Patrick Allen represents a unique form of arts philanthropy. His business premises include a basement bar and space, and he donates this free of charge as a venue for new music organisation, Club Inegales. The space has also been used for an event run with the Arts Council called So You Want To Get Funded, for composers to meet the Arts Council representatives. He’s an enthusiastic amateur musician and a Labour party supporter, currently funding a think-tank about economic policy. He also supports Camden Arts Centre.
